(Your lead actually goes to nowhere, but the second paragraph of your story could be a better lead: the disappearing local culture due to external pressure. What is that external pressure? That could be a much better story.)

The 34th Hong Kong film Awards finalists was out, however the number of local actress being nominated for the best actor award is less than mainland actress. Movie director Herman Yau said, the Hong Kong film Awards is important to the Hong Kong film industry, but award named Hong Kong does not mean those awards are only for Hong Kong actors.

Ryan Lau, one of the actor in Yau’s latest film ‘Sara’, said although the industry is leaning to the mainland market, there are spaces and chances for new local actors. ‘We care about local because we think it is disappearing’, said Yau, adding ‘There are external pressure that makes local culture disappearing.’
