“Establish the Charity Law is a must!” Mr. Lu Tak Ming, C.E.O, YAN OI TONG said. There are more and more organisations claimed to be a charity and they set up booths to collect donations. According to Mr. Lu, most of them are not formal institutions and even some of them are illegal organisations.

Therefore, he agrees to establish the Charity Law to regulate all the fund donation events. However, he does not want stringent governance, due to the need of being creative and break through. If there are too many restrictions, it would stifle development.

Yan Oi Tong rises about 6-7 millions in their own fundraising activities. He also wants to absorb mainland funds in the future by holding different fund raising campaigns in mainland China.
