HONG KONG, 14 Feb- “When Heaven Burns”, a TVB drama, has aroused great echo in society recently. “We should produce some more similar television programs to attract the young audience,” Ho Yuet Fung, Global media specialist, said today.

The TVB drama, “When Heaven Burns” has been banned in China as it involves some sensitive political issues. Yet, it has gained great support among the young audience, who are eager to express themselves and to reveal social problems.

For Ho, television programs should not only cater to the taste of housewives. “There should be some more similar television programs like “When Heaven Burns” in the market,’ said Ho. “It is really a good drama. After watching the last few episodes, I visited the website of “myTV” and watched it again from the beginning,” Ho added.

Ho encourages the young audience to voice their opinions actively. Then, television stations will know what they are looking for and produce programs which interest them. “If the themes are really sensitive, we may take foreign cases as references, showing them at a specific period,” Ho suggested. (((very strong work here...well-written and clear, and interesting to read...great work!))
