Reported by Leung Sze Wai Speaking at Shue Yan University general assembly, HU Ching Fang who is the director of Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre. She has published eleven books, her newspaper columns are popular over mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong which Singaporeans Chinese media is involved.

"As a writer, I need to observe different shadow.” said Hu.

Social media such as Facebook always as a platform for people to exchange ideas inspire writers in their writing. Also it’s a platform for writers to publish articles, even traditional media that newspapers are not willing to publish.

For Hong Kong has always been criticized as a "cultural desert",cultural creations such as art and literature are poor developed. “Hong Kong is definitely not a cultural desert. In fact, there are lots of cultural activities in Hong Kong and well-developed. The problem is have we aware?” said Hu. She think Hong Kong like Taiwan in the past, people always have a mindset of neglecting local art work. People tend to believe that the foreign artwork was better.

Hu encouraged Hong Kong teenagers to join more cultural activities and do not afraid of the failure.--165070 2018年10月2日 (二) 17:34 (CST)
