中國北京新浪網 新浪網新聞中心

‧中國門戶網站公司，一家服務於中國大陸及全球華人社群的最大的中文網路內容服務提供商。

‧目前全球最大規模的中文網站。截至2004年底，新浪自稱在全球擁有1億以上註冊用戶。

‧中國沒有新聞採編權，由於受到政府的嚴密監控與管制，新浪的新聞內容受到過濾，並且在很多時候為了遵從政府意志或只是單純地謀求點擊率，而違背公平中立原則。

‧2007年開始在新浪網的部落格當中發表違法中國法律規定的禁止或管制人員視為敏感的文章一律遭到刪除。

‧部落格當中，每一篇文章最後出現『有獎舉報』的鏈接。來提供網民在瀏覽過程中舉報發現的違法中國法律的內容。
