(Hanging a banner on Lion Rock proclaiming“I want true universal suffrage” is creative work of the civil disobedience movement. But the way you put it lacks sincerity and persuasion, no difference from people hanging a banner outside one’s window. I would put more effort in describing that the banner has covered a very steep sloop from the top of a hill that stands 400 meters above sea level. And because of the altitude, close to half of the population in the east Kowloon could see the banner clearly from afar. )

Miss Kathy Chan, Chief Consultant of the Public Communication Strategic
Consultancy Limited, pointed out that “The lion mountain banner is very creative.”


She said that the copywriting skills in the modern age is better than the early
ages in Hong Kong, for example, the banner on the lion mountain. However, she
pointed out that if you print the banner as bookmarks and give it as a newspaper
gift, the newspaper would lose its objectivity.


She thought that CY Leung was so successful on getting people hate him. She
said the “14k monthly income” sentence get millions of people to hate him. She
said that the PR done on CY Leung is really a challenge.


She emphasized that public relation have to tell the truth, but not necessarily the
whole truth. She said that PR is an external party to the client. PR is King maker,
instead of King itself.
