A.I. used in the society step by step nowadays. Human not easy replaced by A.I. in the few years, says Bosco Yung.

“Journalists need to equip more knowledge in order to contend with artificial intelligence (A.I.) attack,” said Bosco Yung, a machine learning engineer during the talk held on 20 November at a Shue Yan University.

Yung got his PhD in astrophysics from Hong Kong University in 2013.

He had worked in the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Centre in Poland as a researcher for two years.

Yung is now a Machine Learning Engineer in the German company Jaumo which design social networking and dating apps.

“Human are the ultimate decision maker,” said Yung.

Yung also claim that human should not worry about A.I. will replace human.

As long as human don't choose the careers that repeating work steps. A.I. is hard to replace people.

Yung said, “Things like replacing real journalists with 100% of A.I. would not happen,”

The Associated Press has used A.I. system since July 2014.

After adopting the publication of financial news, the Associated Press is satisfied with the results.

It is expected that the results of the sports events will be reported to the machine reporters from 2015.

A journalist is a machine that uses news information or statistics to change to news.

The writing style of paragraphs is human friendly.

But in fact, it is a computer program written by artificial intelligence.

“A.I. could point out figures accurately when reporting, but only human journalists could report emergency news and give the most recent information for reader," Yung said.

Yung also said that like terrorist attack, it is difficult for A.I. to do the same thing as human reporters under the current development.

He also said that human can create original content and flexibly change it, but computers are not flexible as humans.
