It is hard to be a reporter, but it is even harder to be a professional one. When reporting news, reporters often face some news that involve(d-still happens keep present tense) human life. Ivan Yau, a former TV news reporter, believed reporters should calm (themselves-omit) down when facing th(o)se challenges.

Ivan Yau recalled (his memory-not necessary, use reminisced about his time as..) as a TV news reporter while working for TVB at the Hong Kong Shue Yan University General Assembly as a guest speaker. He was a (reporter to report) on Garley Building on 1996.

“It was unforgettable as you could see people kept screaming for help but the fire was just behind them and burning them.” Yau said.

At that scene, people were able to see dead (noun missing) everyway, even hanging by the apartment window. It was an emotional moment, (however?), Yau said it was hard for him.

“We are human, we still have emotion(more than one).” Yau said. However, he still held his breath(e) and finished the reporting. He believed it is the responsibility for reporter to stay calm on whatever coming up next, even it may be something that is hard to take. He said that audience emotion can be affected by the reporters. That’s why reporter should be professional and be able to deliver the message to the citizen so that people know what is going on.

Good story, keep up the good work!
