William Chan, Hong Kong Youth Exchange Promotion United Association Executive Director, a top student when he was at school, unfortunately lost his memory when he was nineteen due to a car crash, giving him an inspiration of the future.

Chan was a medic who studied in England, being a doctor, gaining fame and wealth was his foreseeable future; however, his life had an opposite change when he got amnesia. He got to know his parents, friends and ex-girlfriends again.

Chan found that catching up with the university work was hard for him, so he decided to quit university and came back to Hong Kong, recovering his lost memory.

"When I was in street, many friends came to me and greet me,asking if I recognized them,"Chan said it was embarrassing when his answer was "Sorry,I cannot remember you".

Chan received help from many people to help him overcome the low tide, therefore,he gave up the chance to be a medic but applied the social science degree of Lingnan University.

Chan thought that his experience could help the teenagers to tackle difficulties.

[When and where did Chan speak?]

[Your introduction is very vague. Introductions and lead paragraphs should orient the reader as to the nature of the piece. "Gave him an inspiration" is not precise enough, and you should really have qualified it with what he was inspired to do.]
