Advertisements impacts Hong Kong young become “Mindfulness & Living Well”

Over 30% Hong Kong people affected by depressive disorder, figures show that 55% of these sufferers did not seek professional help. HK4As invited university students to encourage creativity helps Hong Kong people become “Mindfulness & Living Well”.

“Increase of suicidal cases become an emerging problem. High school students signs of depression. Everyone know mental health is important for growth, but no one talk about it. How can we share the message?” Angela Ng, Executive Director of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong said.

World health suicide report shows that about 80,000 deaths by commit suicide in worldwide each year. Over 60% case happened in Asia. In Hong Kong, case of young commit suicide is increased. It is because adolescence critical stage as teenagers adapt to changes in life through environment, friends and parental separation. Faced with this situation, HK4As designed “Mindfulness & Living Well” be topic of The HK4As Students Awards and though advertisement affects Hong Kong young be positive and optimistic for their life.

“Hang in there! You can create a good advertisement” Ng said. The HK4As Students Awards 2018 enrollment started. Ng mentioned that students of the university are encouraged to join and exercise more with advertisement. Though the created advertisements, teenagers who in depression can reduced pressure.

The HK4As Students Awards is an annual event organized by HK4As. Students can show creativity in the new generation and prepare to be a future star in advertising field. Ng indicated that university students use this method as a useful step to join advertising industry as well as feeling what to expect in this chosen career. “If you interested working for create advertisement in the further, join this event as soon as possible” Ng said.
