Angela Ng: Digital Advertisements are rising but confusing everyone


The companies in the world are increasing digital advertisements expenses. The whole advertisement industry is transforming and adapting to the digital generation.


Angela Ng Ching-Mei, the Executive Director of The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong said, “Digital era has come. Almost all the companies have raised their expenses on the digital advertisement, but we found it difficult to accommodate ourselves to these new advertisements. We don’t know what our customers want, and neither do they. The evolution of digital advertisements has confused every one of the advertisement industry.”


A student asked about how long do the advertisers take to adapt the change in digital generation and what the advertising industry will be in the future. “I am not a crystal ball. I have no idea what the advertising industry will be. The trend has alerted us the power of digital, the emergence of digital, we will utilize various methods to analyze the future of advertisement industry like statistic research and professional studies. The people of ours have already trying their best to adapt the change, but it does take time.”


The digital advertisements did not appear in one night. “The digital advertisements would be anywhere in the Internet one day.” Said Angela Ng. “And the people would have grown used to it eventually like the old time that the advertisement appears on the billboard.”
