Applization in Hong Kong

The Chief Editor of Finet, Yi-ping Law, expresses her feeling about the “Applization” of Hong Kong media in the Shue Yan University. Law states that media uses exaggerative and immoral styles in reporting after the occurrence of the Apple Daily.
Law says that Hong Kong media is changing now. In order to increase readers, the media uses exaggerative and immoral ways in reporting news. Besides, commercial concerns usually use to judge the news whether it is good or not. She comments that Hong Kong is lack of a healthy newspaper.
Apart from Applization, Hong Kong media is facing a problem of lacking professional reporters. There are less people engage in journalism. In order to save the budget, some of the media hire some students for part-time jobs. This leads to the downfall of Hong Kong media.
Law recommend by improving the problem is learnt from China. It is better to communicate and cooperate with mainland media or Hong Kong media which take-over by mainland corporates.
