Re-creation has become a trend in local. The government suggested that the re-creation to be criminal. “ The law of the re-creation should not be too harsh,” Geordie Toh, the Legal Advisor of global technology company, said today.


During the Chief Executive election, there were lots of re-creation products on the Internet. He said the government should ban some of the master pieces were being used by others in term for earning money.


“This is a problem shows that the contradiction between technology and creative media. The government needs to balance both of them, so the law should not be too harsh,” Toh said.


Toh admitted that he has not seen any related materials. However, he suggested that the seriousness of the punishment depended on different situations. He said some re-creation products were quit interesting and should not be punished.


He believed that it is not easy to judge or prove the defendant is guilty or not, even the law has been launched.
