Wong He, a Hong Kong artist, said that artists might express more in TV shows produced in mainland China than those in Hong Kong as the number of audience was greater.

Wong He, together with other celebrities in the entertainment industry, held a talk in Shue Yan University today. Ng Yu who is the CEO of Emperor Entertainment Group Ltd was also one of the guest speakers.

Ng Yu commented that Hong Kong artists might perform differently in TV shows produced in mainland China and in Hon Kong. They might behave in a more active way in mainland China but might look uninterested in Hong Kong.

Wong He stated that it was the matter of the market behind, “For example, if I make some movement, I may be in danger of being injured. If more people can see me injured, my injury is more worthy.”

He further explained that the audience of programs of mainland China was a lot greater. If he could impress the people there, he could have more or better job offers later on.

Besides, Wong said that artists were treated better when they were invited to attend a TV show produced in mainland China, “At least 100 thousands\ will be spent on me for remuneration, first class flight tickets, suite rooms, etc.”
