Chinese politician Bo Xilai was dismissed from (Chongqing party chief) last month as he was intent to revive "red culture" in Chongqing. Liu Wei Zhong, the chief editor of Bauhinia Magazine said that this incident showed us that China (became-change to progressive) more democratic nowadays, in the assembly of Hong Kong Shue Yan University on April 17.

Last week, Gu kailai, Bo's wife was under arrest(ed) as she was the suspect of the death of Neil Heywood, an English Businessman.

Liu Wei Zhong said that Bo connived (at) his wife, he should take the responsibility to the death of Heywood.

Liu also claimed that the political earthquake of China showed that China was on the road to democracy and the rule of law. He pointed out that the vote in the 18th Party Congress was transparent and made (art) public compare to the congress before.

Regarding the " Bauhinia Magazine", Liu emphasized that the role and policy of the magazine would not be changed in the political earthquake of China. They would still act as a bridge between Hong Kong and Mainland to propagate " One Country, two system".
