There were three direction of the technology development in the future, which were AI, Internet of Things (IoT) and 5G development, 5G development could help robots with the intermediate response and IoT could help with the development of AI ,says a technical founder.

“Big data is very important to the development of AI,” said Mak Hin Yu, a Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Roborn Dynamics Limited. IoT could build the system and develop the big data, but robot only had one data, he said. AI could learn from themselves thought self-learning with the sensor, it also had personal thinking, such as AlphaGo, he said. Big data could help AI to learn from the database, so AI could learn more and quickly, he said.

He agreed that motion detection biomorphic robots had both advantages and disadvantages. For the disadvantage, people may communicate with others through facetime, so it affected people communication skill, he said. “The robots can make human life more convenient, break the limitation of distance and do crisis management,” he said. He said that maybe the robot could represent human to finish the process in law, such as signing, which was an huge advantage to human life, he said, who was speaking at Hong Kong Shue Yan University talk today.

He believed that every countries would not prohibited the technology development and must focus on it, country might continue to support the research and development to the scientists, he said. He did not afraid that the political factor would affect the technology development because every countries were willing to have their own new technology.

Mak Hin Yu graduated from The University of California, Berkeley and joined many research and development projects with NASA. He became the founder of Roborn Dynamics Limited in 2017 which to develop and produce the motion detection biomorphic robots.
