(You should be more specific when you said "the Bloomberg Chinese Edition will be an epitome of magazine(s) in Hong Kong", it might be the epitome of business magazines but not necessarily in other fields. I am sure it will not be an epitome of comic books. You forgot to mention the traditional Chinese version of the magazine will be launched in Hong Kong coming June. Without informing this to your readers, they might get confused and thought the two Chinese versions were launched at the same time in 2004. Also, You should present some background information about the Bloomberg group which is owned by Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York City, the world's financial center.)

“The Bloomberg Chinese Edition will be an epitome of magazine in Hong Kong, combining the elites’ wisdom from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan,” said Thomas Shao , Chairman of Modern Media Group in a university talk today.

The Modern Media is a fledging media group in China since 1993. It owns serveral prominent magazines in the region, like Modern Weeklyand City Magazine. It launched the Bloomberg BusinessWeek Chinese Edition in 2004.

In the Chinese Edition, half of the content is translated from the original US Bloomberg, while the other half is composed by the editorial team in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Although Bloomberg Chinese Edition is published in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Shao sets his sights on the mainland China market, rather than Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Shao believes Hong Kong is not an ideal site for profits. “It cost up to RMB 1 million to advertise in the mainland China magazine, yet it only cost HKD 10 thousand to do the same advertisement in Hong Kong,” he said.

When an audience asked for the estimated budget in publishing the Bloomberg Chinese Edition, he answered, “I launch this magazine not because of money. I hope to share a global vision with all Chinese people and contribute to the society.”
