(Your lead is OK save for a few grammatical errors. The consultation would not take place until this December so it is incorrect to say "consultation which held by the government" because it sounds like it has been held already. No, Tsang Yok-sing did not say "the crucial factor of the implementation of real universal "suffrage" is the desire of China". Here it means China prefers to have a real suffrage but unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. What Tsang said was China needs to accept the possibility of a pan-democratic candidate running for the chief executive office in order to solve the impasse of the political reform. To misquote someone, especially to the opposite effect, is a very big mistake.)

The crucial factors of universal suffrage are real competition and the right to choose the potential chief executive which mean the right of nomination, said Yu-shek Cheng, spokesperson of Alliance for True Democracy.

Cheng questioned about the sincerity of the universal suffrage's consultation which held by the government. He raised that the president of Legislative Council Tsang Yok-sing had said that the crucial factor of the implementation of real universal is the desire of China. Cheng said that China played the core role of universal suffrage. He said that the real universal suffrage should be competitive and people should have the right of nomination.

Cheng noted that alliance for True Democracy suggested that it is hard to rule Hong Kong if the government does not have enough acceptability. He suggested that Donald Tsang's government failed to carry out long term reforms like widen the tax base due to the low acceptability of the government. Alliance for True Democracy also suggested that it would be hard to convince Taiwan to trust China if Hong Kong cannot achieve democracy. Cheng believed that if the government can get the consensus of universal suffrage with the public in coming April , it will not have any excuse to carry out Occupy Central movement.

"The only strength of Alliance for True Democracy is the support of the public."said Cheng.

He added that it was hard for them to collect money from the public as they are not so sensational like the Occupy Central Movement. Cheng said that they had tried different ways to collect money like street fundraising and they will hold a fundraising dinner in the future.
