The spokesperson of Alliance for True Democracy : China has no right to judge whether we are colluded with foreign or not

By Urania

﹣Oct 22 The spokesperson of Alliance for True Democracy denied at

Shue Yan University today that he colluded with foreign parties.

He also encouraged politicians in Hong Kong not to follow what

China's government tells them to do.

Being the spokesperson of Alliance for True Democracy, Joseph Yu-

shek Cheng attended a meeting with Shin Ming-te recently. But Cheng

was criticized by pro-Chinese government media

Global Times that he colluded with foreign parties.

“The Communist Party has no right to judge whether we are colluded

with foreign or not because it received help and money by Soviet Co-

mmunist Party in the very begining too.“ Cheng said.

Hong Kong government announced last week that a council are set

up for counseling how to set up a reasonable and workable method

for constitutional reform and 2017 chief executive election. But Che-

ng doubted about government’s sincerity in pursuing a fair and equal

election in 2017.

“Hong Kong Government is waiting for Chinese Government’s order.

Even though Universal suffrage are given to Hong Kong residents, I

don’ t think Chinese government will accept a pan-democrat candid-

ate to become our chief executive.” said Cheng.

Cheng pointed out politicians in Hong Kong should not follow what

Chinese Communist Party wants them to do. Therefore, he hoped th-

at Alliance for True Democracy will bring Hong Kong a true democracy.

The Alliance for True Democracy, formed in March this year, is a coali-

tion of the pan-democrats to fight for universal suffrage in Hong Kong.

The convenor of Alliance Joseph Cheng Yu-shek has been criticized that

he attended a meeting in Taiwan with Shin Ming-te, a famous politician

in Taiwan that carried out a massive protest (Million Voices Against Corr-

uption, President Chen Must Go) in order to force the corrupt president

Chen Shui-bian to resign.
