(A rather good lead you have save for a few minor tweaks. Two "objects" appeared in the same paragraph didn't sound too smooth. How about one object and another against? "The corrupt of Central is equal to the corrupt of Hong Kong"? I don't quite get the meaning of this. Or do you mean collapse?)

Chow Yung “voice for Hong Kong”: “Tell Me Why?!”

Lin Li Ping 24-9-2013

The organizer of Silent Majority, Chow Yung, today presents the idea of his organization over “Occupy Central” in Shue Yan University. During his presentation, he emphasized that they are not object to universal suffrage, but only object to occupy Central. However, he did not suggest alternatives for fighting for universal suffrage in Hong Kong and he mentioned that a universal suffrage with limitation is the reality which Hong Kong people have to accept.

“Corrupts Central is equal to corrupt Hong Kong”

Although the organizer of “Occupy Central” Tai Yiu Ting emphasized that the activity would not cause any turmoil, Chow Yung still believed that “Occupy Central” would cause serious negative effect to Hong Kong. For example, he said if all the police have to handle the participants of “Occupy Central”, the security of other areas of Hong Kong would become very dangerous. Chow repeatedly stressed that the corrupt of Central is equal to the corrupt of Hong Kong.

The veto power of Chinese Government is inevitable

During the sharing, there are students asked Chow what is his definition of “real universal suffrage”. Chow replied that a universal suffrage with limitation is the reality of Hong Kong situation, the veto power of Chinese Government is inevitable, unless the “Basic Law” can be changed. He said when every one of any political parties has the chance to participate in the Chief Executive election, then this would be an acceptable way for him. He even mentioned that the only reason for Hong Kong do not have universal suffrage in 2017 is that there are not enough 2/3 of legislative counselors approval the constitutional reform suggestion. He said if the pan-democratic parties can compromise with Government, there would be a “win win situation”. “I do not understand why occupy Central is the only way to fight for universal suffrage, tell my why?!” Chow shouted.
