Chung To : We are firefighters, not police 045060

“What we need to do next are to tell the public how the aids impacted children grow up normally, instead of revealing how poor they are. Giving the positive examples to the public is what we need to do.” Chairman of Chi Heng Foundation Chung To said during the seminar in Hong Kong Shue Yan College on 28th of November.

“Fire is still burning. We are firefighters, not police.” he thought that we need to look forward to seek how to help the aids impacted children, not to emphasis on how poor they are or find out who need to take the responsibility of the spread of aids in China.

“What should be done is to help the aids impacted children integrate into the society instead of labeling them. And we want to show our love and care to them, so as to let them know they are not being abandoned. After they grew up, I hope they will help others due to our help.”

He added that we can help the aids impacted children through being a volunteer, donation or try to get the public concern to this issue.
