Content is the priority of the development of DBC

Digital Broadcasting Corporation Hong Kong limited (DBC), which was once closed due to the arguments of the shareholders, reopened in this week, and Loh Chan, the new C.E.O of DBC, said that there is a motto "Content is King" for a news radio channel which implies that the content is the most important for the development of DBC.

Enriching Content is the developing route of DBC

Loh attended a press conference in Shue Yan University today and he was asked how to cope with the challenges during the reopening of the DBC. He replied that the DBC enriches good contents of the channels as their developing route. In the news channel, the focus would be put on balancing the neutrality of the news reporting and thus in-depth analysis would be applied towards the current social issues in the media to appeal the audience and increase the publicity of it. Despite the fierce competition of radio,he believes that the certain audience groups and their developing route of enriching the contents of the channels will help DBC to be more competitive.

No doubt for the publicity and neutrality of DBC

After the relaunching of DBC, Bill Wong Cho Bau ,who is the member of the Regional Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, becomes the biggest shareholder of DBC holding 99.6% shares. Chan was asked that if the identity of Bill will intervene the stance of DBC,he replied that Bill has made a commission to him that DBC won't be the another "Apple Daily" nor the "Wen Wei Po" nor the "Tai Kung Po". For maintaining the neutrality of DBC, Bill will not get into the shareholders' committee of DBC. Therefore, Chan said that it is no need to doubt the publicity and neutrality of DBC.
