(The "goods transport between mainland and Hong Kong" that you mentioned in your report, is actually parallel trading. This is a proper term. Read more English newspapers and you will know that it is parallel trading and its traders are causing inconvenience to the local residents.)

‘Hong Kong Government must coordinate the goods which transport between mainland and Hong Kong, if the travel policy will tighten up’, said David Yeung, Director of Center of Game Theory, Saint Petersburg State University.

Recently the government was discussing the limit of the multiple-entry permit plan, Yeung expressed that the goods transport between mainland and Hong Kong must be coordinated. ‘It involves the supply and demand, and needs best communication between HK and Shenzhen government’, said Yeung. A survey made by Democratic Party pointed that seventy-five percent of citizens approved of tightening up the multiple-entry permit and thought parallel traders affected their normal life.

Besides, Yeung thought that China must improve the quality of its light industry. ‘China is doing well as United States in many fields like high tech, but in some areas which don’t need technology China must improve’, said Yeung, ‘I don’t believe that China can not afford to produce a good can of milk powder.’ But now mainland citizens lose faith in Chinese goods and the government must take it seriously.
