Due to the advanced technology, digital media has

developed rapidly. Many people read news online

instead of through printed media. Senior Editor

of Huffington Post, Chris C. Anderson expressed

that digital media is replacing printed media as

the habits of readers has changed.

“It is not a printed world anymore.” Anderson

pointed out that many printed media company like

“UK news of the World” and “Tucson citizen” changed

to online media to adopt the trend of digital media.

Recently, “Newsweek” is going to become a digital media

in the coming year. He thought that media need to have

revolution to deal with the digital environment, “If you

don't adapt, you will die.”

On the other hand, Anderson said that it is important for

online media to be fast and accurate. If the news published

is not accurate, the Internet will be full of fake news

which affects the media and the public. Besides, online

media can use social websites like facebook and twitter

to publish their news in the Internet within 24 hours.

Anderson said it provided interaction with readers as

they can give comments and express their feelings after

reading the news.
