Do not label the children impacted by AIDS, the Chairman of the Chi Heng Foundation Chung To said when he shared his opinion on “Orphans created by the AIDS Epidemic in Central China” at the Hong Kong Shue Yan College on Tuesday.

The best way we treated the children was letting them grow up locally and go to school with other non-HIV impacted children. They should not be isolated or labeled by others, Chung To strengthened.

Although the main generation suffered form AIDS is middle generation, but not only middle generation affected by AIDS, but also all three generations suffered the worst. Grandparents is losing their children, middle generation is dying of AIDS and children is becoming orphans, so all of them are suffering the worst, he explained.

The main reason why AIDS was spreading quickly in China was because of blood selling in Central China. Most of orphans created by the AIDS do not infect HIV actually, he strengthened.

I hope we can transmit the concept that there is love in the world to the orphans so that they can continue to help other orphans after they grow up, Chung To said.
