In this digital era, technology comes first. This more or less has changed the printed media environment. Chris C. Anderson, the Senior Editor from Huffington Post, thinks that no one wants to stand still nowadays but to adopt new technology and to bring it into the online media community.

Chris thinks that the way for people to consume news have changed as no one wants to stand still anymore.

“Don’t leave behind technology. As all you can see how powerful technology is, like Facebook, Twitter and Weibo. We have to put more energy and resources to the company. We also have to ensure that our editors are able to work with the technology team.” says Chris.

But how can journalists “survive” in such ever-changing online media field? Chris thinks that communication is another important element.

“Be able to build relationships. You have to talk to people. Don’t act like a loser. Try to get recommendation from people, like, your professors in order to get people to write good things about you. Don’t feel embarrass to ask questions. You can step a bit better whenever you ask others for advice.” says Chris. --105125 2012年11月15日 (四) 00:31 (UTC)
