Sino-US relations keep on discussing around the world, the actions of Donald Trump are the focal point in the global. There are still many people in the United State keep support him no matter he had the scandals before or the decisions he made now.

“Trump uses the scandals effectively to gain the supporters,” said Simon Shen, the President of Yew Wah Global Institute of Lifestyle and Management, and Founding Chairman of the international relations start-up company GLOs (Glocal Learning Offices). There were many scandals about Donald Trump during the election of President and Vice President of the United States, however, it was not a problem to Trump, it was only a side problem to him, Shen added. The scandals did not affect Trump, but helped him to build up the image and mobilise the supporters continue to support him, because most people wanted to choose a normal person to become their president and they thought that these were the normal actions and would not affect his management of the United States, Shen said.

“Trump breaks the social norms,”Shen said. Most of the president of the countries were care about everything, include the other countries. However, Donald Trump only paid attention on the United States, so he created a new social norms in the international, Shen added, who was speaking at Hong Kong Shue Yan University talk today.

“Trump always post some posts on Twitter to express his thought, so they are not secret of Trump,” Shen said. He believed that Trump had more space to do the things he wanted to do, the target Trump wanted to reach was not the presidents around the world, his target audiences were the people who support Republican Party and Trump would continue to reach his target audiences on the future.

Shen is a famous international relations scholar in Hong Kong and he has published over 70 academic articles, including in the prestigious China Quarterly and Journal of Contemporary China etc.--165031 2018年10月23日 (二) 17:20 (CST)
