A director of Corporate Administration emphasized that the take place of Olympiad’s equestrianism can give an opportunity for people to reconsider the society culture of Hong Kong.

Dr. Horace Yuen, Director of Corporate Administration, Equestrian Events (HK) of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad Co Ltd., thinks Hong Kong society value is faulty. Hong Kong people is lack of public spirit and always public the other’s privacy and secret.

Yuen points that “The Olympiad’s objective defends dignity, namely humanist harmony which teach us to remember patiently and forgiveness. These are all Hong Kong people need” Yuen believes that Olympic is a good chance for them to understand more Olympic spirit and reconsider the society culture.

Yuen also brings up that the value of Olympics is not for winning but a process of participating and trying the best. “The Olympic game is not only a competition, the significance behind it is to link up body and spiritual and achieves the human harmonious development” Yuen Said.

Yuen hope that nobody prohibited athletes’ rights for participating in Olympics. “We should keep peaceful to welcome the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The Olympic spirit is to unite everyone from different regions. Any negative actions are not allowed” said Yuen.
