Ho claimed that there are three rules for all journalists to become successful--- build your contact book, keep promises and be fearless. He picked ‘build your contact book’ as the most important one. He claimed that successful journalists are terrible writers as he thought all the journalists to put less attention on the writing quality, but instead putting more effort on developing more relationships with people inside the social circle. He said one as a journalist, he/she shouldn’t be shy, and should talk to everyone, giving out business card to everyone to impress others so as to plan a future road for the business.

Road to success—talking on human base

He gave the example of the scandal of Edison Chen and Kate Moss to show that there are always different reactions and standpoints of public, press, public relation between East and West.
