Giving candy is not a solution to Hong Kong

Cheung Kai Wing, Kevin 095096 7 / 2 / 2012

For the latest Financial Budget, the public views seem to focus on the lack of giving extra cash to the public. However, Chiu Sin Chun, Now TV financial commentator showed different views at a sharing talk in Shue Yan University.

“The latest financial budget is totally non-sense,” answered Chun when he was being asked to comment on the Financial Budget. “The main problem is about R and D, Research and Development, obviously Tsang Chun-wah ((didn’t get a clue for that)).”

Chun mentioned that the policies like reducing the tax seems like giving big advantages to the public, but it is only a very little part of the benefit earned by the government. He added that the government didn’t do anything to solve the root of the problems that Hong Kong is facing.

“What makes the thing more non-sense is that nobody focuses on the lack of solutions, but just focus on how the government gave so little candy to the public,” said Chun, “It is not also the problem of the public, but also the problem of the press.” He encouraged the students that they will need to build up a critical mind, rather than just listening and being leaded by the speaker. --095096 2012年2月7日 (二) 23:39 (UTC) ((good job here, like the satirical tone of the title and the article follows suit))
