Greater Bay Area provide more startup chance for Hong Kong towards globalisation, said by a technician.

Jefferson Wat, the President of SME Global Alliance said that the relationship between technology and the Greater Bay Area is close. The cities within the Greater Bay Area have their own abilities. Hong Kong is the center of international financial and trading market, which brings great advantages within the Greater Bay Area. He said, Hong Kong provides a platform that allows small and medium enterprises develop actively, as well as a bridge for them connect to other cities in mainland. Beside, Shengzhen is the base to innovate and create new technologies. It is moving forward to globalisation.

‘Greater Bay Area strengthens the cooperation between the participated cities,’ Wat said. Some people worried the Greater Bay Area will weaken the status of Hong Kong. He believes that the Greater Bay Area can help Hong Kong build up a bigger international market, because Hong Kong needs China’s support. Before ‘Greater Bay Area’ is established, Hong Kong , Chu Hai and Macau was called ‘Pearl River Delta’. Wat explained, it is mainly because internet develop so well nowadays so the cooperation relationship is extended.

As technology development is important to the Greater Bay Area, ‘everyone should maintain strong curiosity,’ Wat said. He encourages young people make use of their talents, ‘no further development if people don't give a first try.’ Wat said.--165009 2018年9月11日 (二) 17:11 (CST)
