Nov 5, Chairman of HKTV said yesterday that Hong Kong government's opposition towards HKTV's consultant report and partial disclosure of information are 'uncivilized' and misleading.

Though the word "confidential" is printed on the documents provided by the Hong Kong government during meeting, chairman of HKTV, Ricky Wong Wai Kay said, he has not done anything in response to this commitment.

"I'm figuring out a creative way", said Wong, "urging the government to reveal the documents publicly without violating any ethical or illegal boundaries". He said he would try to propose the plan latest this week.

With 12 hundred thousand people going on strike in Admiralty in late October, Wong said he does not think the public were showing support to him in particular. Wong said, "it is a coincident that both the society and HKTV share the same enemy", adding that the public was taking the issue as an opportunity to express their dissatisfaction.

Wong said the government has underestimated public's concern towards free-to-air TV licensing, which also highlighted a core problem in Hong Kong political system.

"People on top of the hierarchy do not know what the lower level (public) want", said Wong.

Ming Pao Daily released an article in October, reporting that Wong has committed criminal activities in China. Wong said he is aware of the news and is expected to have more mockeries with "black materials" in the near future. --115036 2013年11月5日 (二) 18:34 (UTC)
