The development of technology is not only bringing the beneficial convenience to people’s life, but also regarding to negative consequences when people unawarely over-relying on it.

“Learning how to be alone is the key to preserve your purity under the era of overflowing information.” HU Ching Fang, who has been a director of Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Center said.

HU pointed out that with the developing technology, people can easily accessed to the latest information from internet or even a mobile device; however, people often forget about the beauty of human interaction in reality is actually more humane.

“I still believe in the beauty of human interaction within the society.” said HU, who is also a literature writer of eleven books in Taiwan.

HU added that sometimes it is hard for people to distinguish the true or bogus when they are contaminated by mass media. Indeed, the relationship realism people felt after their physical interaction with others could never be replaced by the stony online conversation.

She further explained, “In the digital age, people often knows a person’s life, attitude and personalities through their shared life on social media.” Osmotically, people may become susceptible such as less confidence or even jealous as they just saw the brighter side of other people’s life instead of in-depth understanding.

Besides, HU believed that there is a group of people were being marginalized under the rapid technical developed society. Without the knowledge on mastering technology, they are not able to caught up the latest information through online platform.

Hence, she suggested people should help these exclusives in order to achieve social integration.
