The founder of the Silence Majority campaign said he was against the Occupy Central movement, which he believes will create a great disturbance in Hong Kong.

Chow Yung attended a talk in Hong Kong Shue Yan University today and introduced the aim of his recently formed organization, Silence Majority. He said Silence Majority is a peaceful organization, 'aims to fight for democracy without disturbance.' Chow predicted Occupy Central would be unsuccessful and would cause a great disturbance towards the Hong Kong society.

Chow vetoed the method and effect of Occupy Central, 'if the major personnel are arrested by the police, many other citizens would join the occupation. Tai (initiator of Occupy Central) calls it the second wave of occupation.' He emphasized that this second wave would paralysis Central, and even Hong Kong, which the People's Government would never allow to trade-off for an universal suffrage.

A student asked what would Chow think if the second wave could force the People's Government to allow universal suffrage, 'if that second wave can make Hong Kong people enjoy universal suffrage, Hong Kong would be done,'he answered, without hesitation.
