“China is a special case,”said a senior editor of HuffPost, one of the most rapidly rising digital medias, adding that they have no intention to launch in this communist country at the moment.

The Huffington Post are now having 6 edition to suit the readers worldwide. Chris Anderson, senior editor of Huffington Post, said they were approaching different media partners in South Korea, Japan and India. When he responded to the question about launching in China and censorship, he carefully said it was a special case, “it is not me to decide where to launch first.”

Anderson said digital media could interact with readers, get things out at once. “Those are print media can never compare with online media,” he said, “I would never go to the print media.”

Newsweek recently abandoned print but turned to an online magazine. Anderson did not think it marked an end to the print media. “Print media will not be replaced by digital media totally,” he said, “People still love print.”
