HKSYU, 13 Nov - Chris C. Anderson, senior editor of Huffington Post, indicated that online news should be fast to meet people’s needs as more turn to the Internet than buy newspapers.


Anderson came a long way from New York to attend a general assembly at Hong Kong Shue Yan University yesterday. Online news are such convenient and fast that attract a large number of people to check it on mobile phones or computers. Anderson pointed out that deadline is important to reporters. Besides, as a reporter, you should go ahead to communicate with others and ask good questions. Be creative is another tip, “try to do something different.” said Anderson.


Diaoyu Island Issue is one of the most hottest topics recently. Some people guessed that American media’s reports had some political tendency, however, Chris thought Chinese people and Japanese people were over reacting.
