“Issuing iBond is a wrong decision made by the Hong Kong government,” said Chiu during his speech to the general assembly of Shue Yan University. "It is a decision of wasting the money of tax payers,"

The Financial Secretary John Tsang suggested that reissuing less than $10 billion iBond so is to help dealing with the inflation problem. However, Chiu did not agree with the decision of the Financial Secretary. "The government issues the bond and receives a huge amount of money. But, it simply keep it instead of doing some investment. It should be criticized by the public" He explained that the tax payers have to pay for the dividends to the investors. It turns out became the burden of tax payer and cannot solve the inflation problem in Hong Kong. ((pretty direct and concise...no unnecessary words...good))
