More Ibond leads depreciation on taxpayers

The government will issue a new batch of “ibond” as (to keep the purchasing power?-keep it how?)of residents according to the latest budget. (good opening)

                                 Rico Yeung

John Tsang, the Hong Kong Financial secretary, said the issuance of inflation-linked bonds amounts HK$10 billion and carries a maturity of 3 years.

Chiu Sin Chun Senior, the financial commentator on Now TV, said the objective of ibond is to keep the purchasing power under high inflation rate. Receiving dividends according to inflation rate half-yearly, Chiu added that the return of ibond has brought a new concern for taxpayers.

“The dividends were from the treasury, that is, from taxpayers.” Chiu said.

(From the dividends by government-rephrase), ibond is a shift of taxpayer’s money to ibond holders. Chiu said the taxpayers will lose part of their income if they are not purchasing ibonds.

“There’s no point to use taxpayer’s money to protect ibond holder’s(only one holder?) purchasing power.” Chiu said.

Before the issuance of the new batch of ibond, Chiu said the government has to elaborate more on how the taxpayers benefits from ibond instead of just fulfilling the objective of keeping the purchasing power.

The format of your article is confusing, why the spacing between each sentence, it should be between paragraphs(3-4 sentences).
