Connie Lo Yan-wai, a founder of Public Humanities Limited, said that she was unexpected that a film “Vanished Achieves” has been turned down by the Hong Kong International Film Festival.

“Vanished Achieves” which was a documentary showed the Hong Kong 1967 leftist riots. Lo pointed out that it was a history of this land and the public should respect it so much so this action of Hong Kong International Film Festival was out of her expectation. She did not feel so disappointed since this movie would be showed on the other film festival and it was popular in different universities in Hong Kong--145041 2017年4月18日 (二) 18:21 (CST)


Connie Lo Yan-wai, a seasoned journalist and documentary producer, said she did not expect her latest film would be turned down by the Hong Kong International Film Festival. Lo's latest film, Vanished Achieve, is showing in community halls and universities. In the film, Lo revisits the highly controversial 1967 riot. The seasoned journalist reiterates it is her responsibility to tell the truth.
