Thanks to the advance of social networking sites, blogging and updating status have become a part of our daily life, so as to the journalists [this is a strange sentence fragment. "so as to the journalists" is an incomplete clause, that needs somehting added to it]. But, Ivan Yau, Assistant General Manager, Corporate Communications of Sino Group said, Journalists should think twice before releasing their own comments online, to avoid misleading audiences.

The development of Web 2.0 allow information to be shared in real time to the masses, some reporters and anchors have shared their feelings and thoughts on some of the reported incidents.

However, Yau said he never post his personal life or express his views and ideas about news issues online. “It was a reckless way to express our thoughts to individual incidents as being a news reporter, we should take the object and the nature of the release into account,” [why is it reckless?] he added, “if the release is open to public, reporters should be well thought out and aware the problem of incorrectly relaying an erroneous message to public.”
