The developers are suspected of manipulating the government policy; even the CE candidates hope to gain their support. Sino Group Corporate Communications Assistant General Manager Ivan M.W. Yau, refused to respond to developer hegemony today in General Assembly of Hong Kong Shue Yan University, because of identity of embarrassment.

In response to the matter of Oceanaire’s property, Yau cited Chief Executive Donald Tsang, who involve in corruption, saying the property developers should base on buyer’s perspective consideration, then implement the project.

“Tsang has met the Ordinace requirements in clear text, paying few hundred dollars to enjoy service valued a million, so there is no violation” He said. “Because he did not stand in a public perspective, therefore the public cannot accept this behavior.”

When students asked about developer hegemony, Yau said his identity is embarrassing and the assembly should not be a press conference, he then refused to answer the questions.

He also considered the enterprise should commit social responsibility, and took the phrase “contribute to the community after you take from it” to make his view more convincing.

Yau said, the resources on social responsibility of each enterprise are different. He asked “Should the enterprises focus only on feedback to the public?” in reply.
