As the rapid development of the worldwide web in the recent two decades, (media has changed its role because of the new media-why how, what is the difference between the new and old. vague sentence). Therefore, the Department of Journalism and Communication of Hong Kong Shue Yan University and the Department of Communication of University of Macau cooperated on a seminar which hosted famous journalists and CEOs.

Can the reporter do all the work?

May Chan Suk-mei, the Chief inspector of News and Public Affairs, (Commercial Radio?two titles, confusing),said that the reporters nowadays need to have the ability to multi-task, and write the passage, tak(ing) photographs , and edit(ing) the videos. One reporter needs to (do all the jobs which is separated into three parts a few years before-edit grammatical mistakes, sva &vt). However, she thought that this trend may lower the quality of the work, as the reporters may only (x) good at one aspects.


It is a must to multi-task

Leung Tin Wai, the Department head of Shue Yan claimed that the trend is a must for all the new reporters to have the multi-tasking ability . He said that he saw a reporter 8 years ago ,had already multi-tasked. Thus, it is no longer a new thing for a reporter to do all the work. He emphasized that in the new era, all reporters needed to be well-equipped to be a reporter.

Avoid asking questions in short length articles, as a question presumes a lengthy and complete explanation, which you cannot do in this setting. Although all questions relate to your news angle, it gives your article a choppy look, either focus on one of the speaker or find a way to smoothly integrate their point of view.
