Lam Chiu Wing speculated Henry Tang will be the next CE

Tuesday, October 11, 2011

The appearance of former president Jiang Zemin means Henry Tang Ying-yen, one of the potential chief executive election candidates, is more likely to win, the host of comedy political show said.

Currently, the hottest political topic in Hong Kong is guessing who will be the next Hong Kong Chief Executive. Lam Chiu Wing, the host of Radio Television program “Headliner”, attended the general assembly of Hong Kong Shue Yan University this afternoon, and shared his views on the election.

Lam speculated that Henry Tang, the former Chief Secretary for Administration, will be the next chief executive, thanks to former president Jiang Zemin's influence, who is considered to be one of Tang's supporters, (suddenly showed up after his death rumor-have to introduce this on its own).

“Tang’s family has a really good relationship with Beijing,” Lam explained. ("However", Lam added, “Tang really does not know how to deal with the public".)

(Meanwhile, Lam think Albert Ho Chun-yan, the chairman of The Democratic Party, join the 2012 chief executive election can benefit the Hong Kong democracy development.)

(Your title matches your article, and you provide the reasoning behind his speculation, perhaps the reader needs to know more about these close ties you mention. The last two paragraph detract from your title, they do not supply more information on the reason why Tang will win, they offer a new angle, which can be distracting)
