Take Leung’s shoes and respect him

Fanny law said that citizens have to take others shoes and tolerant and respect others. She believed that if she were him, when she knew that there were illegal structures in the building, there were no reasons not to apply for exemption for the brick wall as there were structures which were also illegal. It was possible that Leung did not know about that wall.

Hong Kong people treat the problem too serious

More importantly, she emphasized that citizens in Hong Kong were treating the illegal structures problem too serious. She furthered that you may find your house with illegal structures if you invited spectators to your house and had a look. Actually the term of illegal structure in English is “unauthorized building work”. When it expressed in Chinese, which is “僭建”, it brought negative feeling to people. Fanny explained that it might turn into legal if you tried to apply for legalization. “If you try to apply for admition from the Building Department, the department may not have enough resource to handle it. In the past, the execution on this policy might be a bit lenient which lead to the problems happened these days”.
