Re-creation issue has stirred up much controversy these days. Geordie Toh, the Legal Advisor of global technology company said, “It could not be too harsh or too lenient in terms of law making of re-creation.”

Toh said,” Some master pieces are being used by others in terms of earning money; this is not what we want to see.” However, he maintains the view that law concerning re-creation should not be too strict if one is not using it formally or intends to take advantages from it. He raised an example of netizens using specific terms to make an irony of political leaders.

“Re-creation could be a serious criminal offense,” said Toh. If the copyright law is modified and passed, re-creation could be criminal. In this way, the prosecutor turns out to be the government but not the owner of the work. However, if the owner’s view deviates from government, even if the law is passed, it could not exercise its function.
