"I have strayed in my love life, and I feel deeply remorseful and guilty," said the 59-year-old Tang. This is part of Henry Tang Ying-yen’s confession to his (affair blasted) a few weeks ago. A newest survey discovered Tang has the lowest support among the top three hopeful candidates of Chief Executive. People are questioning Tang’s ability to be chief executive as he had an affair in his past love life.

Head of Journalism and Mass Communication Department from Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Leung Tin Wai, commented in public,” I think Tang Ying-yen does not have the qualifications to have a run in Chief Executive Election.”

He said Tang’s affair was handled in a confusing confession, "He made most of us confused. I do not know what he wants us to know. This reflects he does not have the wisdom of being a political figure.”

He suggested Tang learning from the experience of Macau's first chief executive Edmund Ho Hau wah and ex-President of the United States Bill Clinton. "Ho Hau Wah revealed his affair himself and Bill Clinton also confessed his sexual affair with Monica Lewinsky. After their speech, there were no negative comment and challenge towards their handling methods. Tang should learn from them instead of giving the public an ambiguous so called ‘answer’.” ((((there were lots of negative comments regarding Bill Clinton)))

“I have the same opinion with another professor in Hong Kong Chinese University; Tang does not have the quality to participate in 2012 Chief Executive Election,” said Leung.
