[--115156 2013年11月27日 (三) 01:07 (UTC)] Hao Tie Chuan, Director General of Publicity, Cultural and Sports Affairs Liaison Office, claimed that the legitimacy of the civil nomination is not approved by the Central government.

Hao, emphasized in an academic talk that Li Fei, the chairman of the Basic Law Committee has been stated clearly the stance that the Chinese government takes on the issue of universal suffrage of Chief Executive 2017 in Hong Kong.

“As long as the Chief Executive candidates don’t violate Article 45 of the Basic Law, he or she would no doubt be allowed to the game.”

However, he once again explained Li’s stand point that the Civil Nomination is regarded to have no law support, that it is not in flavor of the Chinese officials’ wish.

Hao said, he respected the proposal of Civil Nomination on the basis of freedom of speech, but he is not supporting the proposal.

“According to the principal of one country two systems, Hong Kong is not necessary to implement a election poll that is totally in line with China, but should also bare in mind that Basic Law has no right to override the Chinese Law.”

Hao also said that it is difficult to generate a proposal that is universally accepted.
