The matter of the success of DAB, digital audio broadcasting, has been discussed around the society. Facing its counterparts, Commercial Radio, RtHK and Metro Broadcasting Radio etc, how can DBC, Digital Broadcasting Corporation, Balance its market share?

Loh Chan, CEO of DBC claimed that every corporation has different managements on their programmes. Moreover, contents of each channel affect the revenue of DBC,"Content is always the king!" Loh said. After DBC had renewed the board of directors, they had decided not to acquire source from other media colleques, instead of setting up their independent news department. Although the cost of making their own news is very high, Loh explained that the daily news department costed the lowest per hour among the 7 channels. So it was worthwhile to invest into it.

Loh emphasized on the need to be fair and balanced when producing news. The independence of editing and reporting would not be intervened though one of the nation commissars of the chinese people's political consultative conference, Wong Cho Bau, had 99.9% share of DBC. Furthermore, Loh claimed Wong as an investor only but not the member of the directors. He promised that DBC would follow both the regulation of the government and the code of ethics to ensure the profession of DBC News.
