The man who stood on the stage today lost his memory since 19 years old after a car accident. He said he wanted to ((admit)) suicide, however, the amnesia has not ((token)) his life away. William Chan, director of Hong Kong Youth Promotion United Association Execution attended a talk by Hong Kong Shue Yan University today, to share his unique experience with the audience.


“I wanted to put an end to my life as I didn’t know who I was.” Chan admitted it was a hard time to go through. “I didn’t know what my personality was and even didn’t know how to spell the word Apple. I have to start over my life again.” Chan described his parent are “strangers who like to cry”.


Chan (used wanted to be-change order) a doctor, “I gave up my dream as I found there are other things I can do, and I want to make my life more meaningful.” Chan said he reviewed his life after the accident. Although he forgot everything after the shock, he tried his best to get over it. He started to find out who he was after ((backing to)) Hong Kong.


“Some of my friends said I was a clever boy and dreamt to be a doctor. Some said I was a careless person. However, I felt like I was listening to a stranger’s story.” Chan discovered himself for a long time. It seems like a period for him to review himself and recreate his life.


The amnesia has changed Chan a lot, he like his new ((live)). “Because of the amnesia, I don’t have any perception when I make judgment.” Chan said this is important for him to be self-positioning in the society. “Life is like a marathon, you have to find your lane.” --095132 2011年11月29日 (二) 20:55 (UTC)

Very nice title, need to be more careful when proof reading, as there are a number of mistakes you could have caught. The angle is well developed halfway through, however the "finding part" is lacking.
