(It is not to do an interview "with" the Middle East, it is to do interviews in the Middle East. Or better, doing stories about the blight situation in the Middle East. What happens to Syria that it has such a horrifying magnitude of humanity disaster? Why is there a war? If you don’t tell your readers, who would? )

Maggie Chum: The students could make use of New Media to Humanitarian concerns.

By Justin Yu. 2014-11-25

'I know some students as independent reporters to do an interview with the Middle East, and I think as journal students could make use of New Media like blogging to write something about Humanitarian,' said Maggie Chum, Communication Officer, UNHCR sub-Office Hong Kong.

Syrian civil war caused millions of people displace. Because of that, Maggie Chum called on the students to pay attention to Syrian refugees. 'For them, mostly have no money to escape from homeland by plane,' she said 'they may take their own car or ship which controlled by traffickers, but there is no guaranty.' Chum expressed that located in the southern Syrian refugees will go to Jordan and northern refugees will go to Turkey.

'We have regional refugee and resilience plan which include Humanitarian, Resilience response and Development,' she added 'we will carry on with neighbouring countries for humanitarian aid'
